Dr. Eleftheria Karampli was born in Larissa, Greece. In 2000 she graduated from the Department of Marketing of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She holds a MSc in Health Services Management (2004) from the National School of Public Health, Athens, Greece and a PhD (2020) from the Department of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.
From 2007 until 2019 (when the NSPH was merged with the University of West Attica as the Department of Public Health Policy) she has worked as a researcher in the Department of Health Economics of the National School of Public Health (NSPH) in Greece. She has taught in the Master’s programme in Health Services Management offered by the NSPH and has also worked on a range of international and domestic research projects. She was also a member of the NSPH Bio-ethics Committee.
In October 2020 she was appointed as a member of the Special Technical Laboratory Staff (ETEP) of the Department of Public Health Policy of the University of West Attica and in July 2022 she became a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP) of the same Department.
Her research interests are in the areas of pharmaceutical policy, Health Technology Assessment, adoption and diffusion of new health technology, and the use of qualitative and mixed methods within health services research.
