Conference: “Health Issues and Policies on Detention and Migration”

 

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Department of Public Health Policy at the School of Public Health of the University of West Attica and the University of Piraeus, the pleasure to invite you to participate in roundtable discussions on the theme “Health Issues and Policies on Detention and Migration”.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in the context of its actions, promotes and supports the collaboration with the Department of Public Health Policy at the School of Public Health of the University of West Attica and the University of Piraeus, in order to highlight the importance of best practices for the sector of Health in Detention, Migrant Health, Public Health and the importance of good Administrative Practice and Management in their approach, according to national and international standards.

The event will take place on Friday 1st December 2023, 9:00 to 18:00 in the Conference Center “Giannis Kyriopoulos” at the Athens Campus, School of Public Health, University of West Attica (196 Alexandras Ave. 11521, Ampelokipoi, Athens).

The event will be held with physical presence, together with simultaneous online participation of those unable to attend in person.
